Because it is necessary to protect the wilderness and promote the tranquility and solitude of the BWCAW, motor usage is limited to 25hp as are the number of people entering the wilderness area. Certain other restrictions regarding entry into the BWCAW may apply. Please refer to the US Forest Service’s site at www.recreation.gov for further information.
