Ely, Minnesota is located on the edge of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCA), 120 miles north of Duluth, and 250 miles north-east of Minneapolis .
Our location offers you the expanse of the Moose Lake chain (Moose, Newfound, and Sucker), plus the massive Basswood Lake to fish without leaving your boat. Basswood lake which is a short portage away, adds 1450 miles of legendary shoreline to your fishing pleasure.
