Custom Cabin Rentals evolved from the old Kirk's Lodge which operated from the 1930's to the 1980's and was run by Mike's grandparents, Ruth and Bill Burley.

Like Kirk's, our resort offers individuality and custom services. We have 10 unique modern cabins in scattered sites. Some of the cabins are located 300 feet above Moose Lake with an unequalled view of the Boundary Waters Area. Others are situated along the shore of Moose Lake with their own private docks.

Mike learned fishing and management from his grandparents some 46 years ago here on Moose Lake, and will be happy to provide you with a guide or mark a map to help you find fish in proven locations. We are always available to answer questions or just for a chat.
